Series of lectures about Mobile Learning
The first ‚Mobile Learning Day‘ was organized by the Mobile Education Center of Excellence and took place in the ‚Great Senate Hall‘ of the University of Hagen on the 15th of November 2006. With this event we wanted not only to provide information on the latest developments in mobile learning, but also to invite our guests for a networking meeting with the opportunity for personal exchange of experiences. Almost 100 persons from Germany, Austria and Switzerland participated on this first Mobile Learning Day whit eight speakers, who gave the participants an interesting insight into their work and experience with mobile teaching and learning. The ensuing discussions, some conclusions and the outlook on Mobile Learning gave the guests some valuable ideas for their own work. The Participation was free of charge and every registered participant received an event folder with the presentations, recent publications and an authoring tool to create their own mobile learning modules.
