Lectures of Schneider, Wolter and Hilgers and networking in the Gerling mansion.
Today I visit two events in Cologne. Firstly I went together with Michael Stepping from avinotec to the eco – Verband der deutschen Internetwirtschaft e.V. (association of German Internet enterprises) to join the working group „content“ on their session „Web 2.0 – was bedeutet das für die Praxis?“ (Web 2.0 – what does it mean for the industry?). Unfortunately I could only listen to the first two lectures, because I had to leave for the next event later on. The lecture of Georg Schneider was quite basic, but it was interesting to hear about the Web 2.0 success story of Volkswagen with their blog www.schlaemmerblog.tv and 3 Mio. Video downloads. However the highlight was the statement of Sascha Wolter „With our Rich Internet Application Technology Adobe/Macromedia is the founder of Web 2.0“ – I didn’t know that :o)
