Another not only interesting, but very entertaining lecture about entrepreneurship. Guy Kawasaki was speaking at the TiECon back in 2006 and gave the audience ten recommendations for a successful foundation of a startup:
- Make meaning (e.g. „Increase the quality of life“)
- Make mantra (e.g. „peace of mind“ for FedEx)
- Get going
- Define a business model (Be specific, keep it simple)
- Weave a MAT (milestones, assumptions, tasks)
- Niche thyself (goal: unique service with great value to customer)
- Follow the 10/20/30 rule (10 slides in 20 minutes with 30 point font)
- Hire infected people (who love your product)
- Easy adoption
- Seed the clouds
